Jackson's Island Campground is a Free Campground managed by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). The Campground sits on Watts Bar Lake.

Take your trash when you leave. PACK OUT YOUR TRASH.
Tent Camping and RV's allowed.
Burn in burn rings only.
Dogs on Leash
Camp on solid ground.
If you swim you are swimming at your own risk. There are no lifeguards.
Amenities: Primitive Camping. No Water, Power, Sewage.
There are Port-A-Potties
There are clearly defined camping spots but as long as you can find a spot of firm ground you can camp. It is one of the rules.
Easy to launch small boats and other small watercraft.
Plenty of area for RV's and Tents.
Fishing and Hunting opportunities. Someone posted rock climbing on Free Camping Website, there is no rock climbing unless they count walking down some rocks to the water. Except for the end of the peninsula, Jackson island is almost all level with the Lake.
About a mile and a half away are the Wolf Creek Gas Station which also offers sit down eating, breakfast and general food fare. 1/8th mile from that is a newly opened Dollar General. Spring City with Restaurants, Howard Johnson Hotel and shopping are less than a 12 minute drive away. Five minutes away is the Spring City Boat Dock which offers inside and outside dining, full restaurant and bar, fishing with a concrete boat launch and pier and bank fishing as well as an improved fishing pier.
